MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-20 (1362) <br /> MOTION AMENDING <br /> SAN LEANDRO BOYS' CLUB LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> On motion by Council Member Polvorosa who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Glaze and carried by the following called vote, the City Council amended <br /> the San Leandro Boys' Club Lease Agreement (Resolution No. 90-241 , December 17, <br /> 1990) to: change the name to the San Leandro Boys' and Girls' Club; provide <br /> for an initial term of 25 years with no cancellation clause; and provide for a <br /> 10-year option period with a one-year cancellation clause. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> P. MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-21 (1413) <br /> MOTION REGARDING BUILDING SECURITY ORDINANCE AND <br /> BUILDING SECURITY STANDARDS <br /> On motion by Council Member Glaze who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Corbett and carried by the following called vote, the City Council <br /> directed the City Attorney to prepare an Ordinance related to building security <br /> for consideration at a future City Council Meeting. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Karp ( 5 ) <br /> NOES: Council Members Faria and Santos ( 2 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> 7. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> None Scheduled. <br /> 8. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Council Member Corbett noted that a store adjacent to her place of <br /> business had been taking carts that did not belong to the store and <br /> moving them onto the sidewalk across the street from the store. She <br /> asked that this be looked into. <br /> B. Council Member Polvorosa thanked Caroline Rueda and Angelo Chiurato for <br /> their recent tour of railroad crossings provided for representatives of <br /> homeowners associations. <br /> C. Council Member Perry thanked the staff, the City Council , and the Mayor <br /> for assisting with her Town Hall Meeting. <br />
