Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - July 15, 1991 Page - 18 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 91-148 (2323) <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTUAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH <br /> TSH ARCHITECTS <br /> RELATING TO THRASHER PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br /> PROJECT NO. 91-8613 <br /> Introduced by Council Member Faria who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Polvorosa and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) . <br /> Q. MINUTER ORDER NO. 91-62 (2678) <br /> MATTER OF ESTABLISHMENT OF <br /> SAN LEANDRO EMERGENCY SERVICES <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT RATE <br /> On motion by Council Member Glaze who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Perry and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved <br /> the increase of the San Leandro Emergency Services Assessment District Rate by <br /> $5.44 per dwelling unit. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> R. Resolution Approving Memorandum of Understanding with Scott/Newest <br /> Company, Inc. <br /> Council Member Corbett asked if successful negotiation of the Lease <br /> was a condition of this Memorandum of Understanding. <br /> Bob Taylor, Public Works Services Director, explained that the MOU would <br /> allow staff to enter into formal negotiations and that staff would come <br /> back to the City Council for approval of the Lease. He said the MOU <br /> says there will be a Lease but does not outline specifics, it just <br /> describes the process for negotiating the Lease. <br /> Council Member Corbett asked questions related to the income to the City <br /> from recyclables and disposal fees. <br />
