Mr. Oliver said they would. <br /> There being no further comments from the public, on motion of Council <br /> Member Faria, seconded by Council Member Glaze, and carried <br /> unanimously, the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 91-108 (1009) <br /> PD-91-1 GDP <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (GENERAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN) <br /> • <br /> REQUEST FOR THE RENOVATION OF THE CIVIC CENTER <br /> WHICH INCLUDES A TWO-STORY, 29,405 SQ.-FT. EXPANSION <br /> TO THE EXISTING CITY HALL <br /> MODIFICATIONS TO THE EXISTING BUILDING AND PARKING LOTS, <br /> INCLUDING SEISMIC RETROFITTING WORK, AND <br /> ADDITIONAL ON-SITE LANDSCAPING <br /> 835-999 EAST 14TH STREET <br /> CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> C/O PACIFIC UNION (JEFF ABRAMSON) <br /> CC (CIVIC CENTER) DISTRICT <br /> On motion by Council Member Corbett who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Glaze and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved <br /> the Negative Declaration and PD-91-1 . <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> 9. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Council Member Santos noted a letter he received from the San Leandro <br /> Manufacturers' Association. He said there was a comment in the <br /> Association's minutes by Mr. Dan McCarthy regarding the restrictions <br /> placed by the Building Department on expansion of existing businesses. <br /> Council Member Santos said he feels the City works closely with the <br /> Chamber of Commerce and the Manufacturers' Association. <br />
