Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - March 19, 1990 Page - 3 - PUBLIC HEARINGS (continued) RESOLUTION NO. 90-32 (1206/2639) RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY NO. 89-273 TO MODIFY EXHIBITS A-1 AND B-1, THEREOF (PHASE II PROPERTIES) Introduced by Council Member Suchman who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Faria and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Faria, Glaze, Jardin, Perry, Santos, Suchman; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) b. Matter of Notice of Intent to Adopt Condemnation Resolution, 1152-86 Marina Boulevard, 545-75 Marina Boulevard, 517 Marina Boulevard, Phase III Properties - Marina Boulevard (authorizes City to acquire subject properties by eminent domain) . This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Bill Silva, City Engineer, noted this property is located east of the railroad tracks on the south side of Marina Boulevard. He said it consists of a narrow frontage strip adjacent to single-family properties. The Hearing was then opened to the public. There being no comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Santos, seconded by Council Member Jardin, and carried unanimously, the Public Hearing was closed. The following Resolution was then introduced: RESOLUTION NO. 90-33 (2639) RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR THE MEASURE "B" - MARINA BOULEVARD WIDENING PROJECT AND FINDING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE PROPOSED PROJECT, THAT THE LOCATION THEREOF CAUSES THE LEAST PRIVATE INJURY, THAT THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS NECESSARY FOR THE PROPOSED PROJECT (PHASE III PROPERTIES - MARINA BOULEVARD) Introduced by Council Member Suchman who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Glaze and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Faria, Glaze, Jardin, Perry, Santos, Suchman; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 )
