Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - March 19, 1990 Page - 3 - <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS (continued) <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 90-32 (1206/2639) <br /> RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY NO. 89-273 <br /> TO MODIFY EXHIBITS A-1 AND B-1, THEREOF <br /> (PHASE II PROPERTIES) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Suchman who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Faria and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Faria, Glaze, Jardin, Perry, Santos, Suchman; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> b. Matter of Notice of Intent to Adopt Condemnation Resolution, 1152-86 Marina <br /> Boulevard, 545-75 Marina Boulevard, 517 Marina Boulevard, Phase III <br /> Properties - Marina Boulevard (authorizes City to acquire subject properties <br /> by eminent domain) . <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, <br /> Bill Silva, City Engineer, noted this property is located east of the <br /> railroad tracks on the south side of Marina Boulevard. He said it consists <br /> of a narrow frontage strip adjacent to single-family properties. <br /> The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> There being no comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Santos, <br /> seconded by Council Member Jardin, and carried unanimously, the Public <br /> Hearing was closed. <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 90-33 (2639) <br /> RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION <br /> OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR THE MEASURE "B" - <br /> MARINA BOULEVARD WIDENING PROJECT <br /> AND FINDING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST <br /> AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE PROPOSED PROJECT, <br /> THAT THE LOCATION THEREOF CAUSES THE LEAST PRIVATE <br /> INJURY, THAT THE SUBJECT PROPERTY IS NECESSARY FOR <br /> THE PROPOSED PROJECT <br /> (PHASE III PROPERTIES - MARINA BOULEVARD) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Suchman who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Glaze and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Faria, Glaze, Jardin, Perry, Santos, Suchman; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br />
