RESOLUTION NO. 90-148 (1073) RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS, SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION, HALCYON DRIVE, IMPROVEMENT ACT OF 1911 Introduced by Council Member Perry, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Faria and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 6 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: Council Member Glaze ( 1 ) b. Matter of Report of Superintendent of Streets Regarding Non-Payment of Work for the Cost of Repair of Sidewalks, Curbs and Gutters for 1989 Posted Properties. This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Bill Silva, City Engineer, noted this is the annual project. He said there are three properties involved and all three property owners requested work and signed request forms but have not paid their bills, so the bills will become liens. The City Council asked questions regarding work done in parking strips and the cost effectiveness of collecting on a bill for only $25.00. The hearing was then opened to the public. There being no public comments, on motion of Council Member Santos, seconded by Council Member Perry and carried unanimously, the public hearing was closed. The following Resolution was then introduced. RESOLUTION NO. 90-149 (1161) RESOLUTION APPROVING AND CONFIRMING REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS ON THE COST OF REPAIRING SIDEWALKS, CURBS AND GUTTERS IN PORTIONS OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND MAKING ASSESSMENTS TO PAY THE COST THEREOF (LIST NO. 90-R-2) . Introduced by Council Member Corbett, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Faria and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 6 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: Council Member Glaze ( 1 )
