Matter of CU-90-7; ARCO Station; 1156 Davis Street; Conditional Use; to <br /> Permit the Self-Serve Sale of Gasoline on a 24-Hour Basis; Esther Holcomb <br /> -- Appeal . <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, <br /> Gaye Quinn, Acting Director of the Building and Planning Department, <br /> requested that the City Council move to another item on the Agenda while <br /> material was prepared for this Public Hearing. <br /> Council Member Santos noted that he would not participate in this Public <br /> Hearing because he holds bonds backed by ARCO. <br /> d. Matter of Public Hearings (3) Regarding Community Development Block Grant <br /> (CDBG) : <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matters, <br /> John Klein, Housing Coordinator, said he would give the presentation on the <br /> Grantee Performance Report and the Housing Assistance Plan and Bill Rugg, <br /> Director of Development, would give the presentation on the Amendment to the <br /> CDBG Program Activities for the Alta Mira Club. <br /> - Grantee Performance Report (GPR) Annual Review, FY 1989-90. <br /> Mr. Klein said the Community Development Block Grant requires that the City <br /> prepare an Annual Report at the end of each fiscal year, detailing the use <br /> of funds. He said CDBG Funds are held as previous year carryover, HUD Block <br /> Grant and Housing Rehabilitation funds. He said last year the City had <br /> approximately $1 .4 million, about one half of which was carried over to this <br /> year for use for the North Area, Housing Rehabilitation, the Davis Street <br /> Child Care Center, and the Alta Mira Club. <br /> The Hearing was then opened to the public. <br /> There being no comments from the City Council or the public, the following <br /> Resolution was then introduced: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 90-205 (2096) <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) <br /> GRANTEE PERFORMANCE REPORT <br /> FOR FISCAL YEAR 1989-90, <br /> AND AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION THEREOF BY THE CITY MANAGER <br /> Introduced by Council Member Perry who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Santos and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br />
