AN City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: March 3, 2014 <br />ONR x419" ` Resolution - Council <br />File Number: 14-052 Agenda Section: CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY: Debbie Pollart <br />Public Works Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW: David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE: RESOLUTION Approving the $49,000 Abandoned Watercraft Abatement <br />Fund (AWAF) Grant Agreement Between the City of San Leandro and the <br />State of California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating <br />and Waterways for Abatement of Abandoned Watercraft Subject to Lien at the <br />San Leandro Marina and the San Leandro Shoreline (approves grant <br />agreement for $49,000 for abatement of abandoned watercraft, and a $49,000 <br />appropriation from the Shoreline Fund) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and the State of <br />California, Department of Parks and Recreation, Division of Boating and Waterways, a copy of <br />which is attached, has been presented to this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />An appropriation by the City Council for $49,000 from the Shoreline Fund has been <br />established and will be replenished by grant proceeds. <br />That said agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized. <br />City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 2/25/2014 <br />
