Port of Oakland Proposed <br />Settlement Agreement on Airport Development Program <br />Litigation <br />Dear Commissioners: <br />The purpose of this letter is to inform the Board that Port <br />and City of San Leandro staff. have reached agreement on a proposed <br />Settlement Agreement to resolve the City's two lawsuits and <br />pending appeals challenging the Port's environmental review and <br />approval of the Airport Development Program ADP ") . City staff <br />will recommend to the San Leandro City Council that the Council <br />approve the Settlement Agreement in closed session on Tuesday <br />November 6. Port staff will recommend that the Board meet in <br />closed session at the Board's November 7, 2000, meeting and then, <br />in open session,. pass a resolution approving the Settlement <br />Agreement.The Executive Director and Director of Aviation <br />recommend approval of the Settlement Agreement..
