The purpose of Task 2 is to prepare in City's format the plans, specifications, and <br /> an Engineer's estimated cost for the rehabilitation or replacement of the Neptune <br /> Lift Station. The project to be designed would be the alternative selected by the <br /> City and defined in the Final Preliminary Design Report associated with Task 1. <br /> Scope <br /> The following items will be addressed in this task: <br /> • Preparation of plan sheets, consisting of: <br /> —Cover Sheet and Index <br /> — Lift Station, Existing Conditions <br /> — Lift Station Improvements, Plan View <br /> — Lift Station Improvements, Sectional View <br /> — Lift Station Improvements, Structural Elements <br /> —Associated Site Improvements <br /> — Lift Station and Site Improvement Details <br /> — Lift Station Electrical (2 Sheets) <br /> • Preparation of specifications consisting of: <br /> — Bid Schedule <br /> —Technical Specifications <br /> • Preparation of the Engineer's estimate of the probable cost of <br /> construction <br /> • Assist the City in obtaining all necessary permits by: <br /> — Providing list of required permits <br /> — Providing technical assistance required for these permits <br /> Initially 70% plans and specifications will be submitted to the City staff for review. <br /> A meeting will be held with the City staff to discuss the 70% documents and <br /> review any comments. Based on comments received, 100% plans and <br /> specifications will be developed and submitted to the City staff for review. A <br /> meeting will then be held with City Staff to review the 100% submittal. Based on <br /> comments received on the 100% submittal, final plans and specifications will be <br /> developed. <br /> The City of San Leandro shall: <br /> • Obtain all necessary permits <br /> SCHEDULE <br /> See Exhibit A-1 included for project schedule. <br /> Deliverables <br /> The deliverables associated with this task include: <br /> 1 2/28/98 Page 3 of 5 <br />
