B. Mutual Indemnification Obligations Survive Termination. The <br /> obligations created by Section 8.A. shall survive the expiration or termination of this <br /> Agreement as to activities occurring or being carried out during the term of this <br /> Agreement in the performance of this Agreement. <br /> 9. Insurance. <br /> A. Generally. ACFD shall procure and maintain for the duration of <br /> this Agreement "occurrence coverage" and "product defect" insurance against claims <br /> for injuries to persons or damages to property, including damage to Truck, which may <br /> arise from or in connection with Truck. <br /> B. Minimum Limits of Insurance. ACFD shall maintain Truck <br /> liability limits no less than $1,000,000 combined single limit per accident for bodily <br /> injury and property damage, and $1,000,000 for product defects. <br /> C. Deductibles and Self-Insured Retentions. Any deductibles or self- <br /> insured retentions must be declared to and approved by the Parties. <br /> D. Acceptability of Insurers. Insurance is to be placed with insurers <br /> with a Bests' rating of no less than A:VII. <br /> E. Verification of Coverage. ACFD shall furnish Dublin and San <br /> Leandro with certificates of insurance and with original endorsements effecting <br /> coverage required by this section. <br /> F. Waiver. The Risk Manager of each Party may approve a <br /> variation in the insurance requirements in this Section 9 upon a determination that <br /> such insurance is either not commercially available or that the Party's interests are <br /> otherwise fully protected. <br /> 10. Miscellaneous. <br /> A. Term. This Agreement shall have a term of sixteen (16) years, a <br /> period equal to the current estimated service life of Truck. This Agreement shall be <br /> in effect from 12:00 a.m., April 1, 1999 until 11:59 p.m. March 31, 2015 unless <br /> otherwise terminated in accordance with the provisions herein. <br /> B. Replacement. No later than October 1, 2014, six months prior to <br /> the scheduled expiration of this Agreement, the Parties shall jointly evaluate the <br /> possibility of: <br /> Agreement Between City of Dublin, City of San Leandro and Page 7 of 12 <br /> ACFD Regarding Joint Ownership of a 1994 LTI Truck March 10, 1999 <br />
