Prior to being spray buffed, the terrazzo floor area shall be swept, vacuumed and <br /> completely wet-mopped. A single disc floor machine, spray buffing pad, and spray bottle <br /> with spray buff solution shall be used to restore a uniform gloss and protective finish to <br /> the floors, which are coated with metal-link polymer floor finish. The floor finish shall be <br /> the same type as that already on the floor. All areas showing wear and scuffing shall be <br /> spray buffed. The floor shall be dust mopped after being spray buffed. After spray <br /> buffing, the area shall have a uniform glossy appearance, free of scuffmarks, heel <br /> marks, and scratches. All spray buff solution shall be removed from baseboards, <br /> furniture, trash receptacles, etc. <br /> C. Wax and Buff Vinyl Tile Floors — Monthly (Public Works, Police Service Building, <br /> Marina Community Center, Senior Community Center, Water Pollution Control Plant, 2 <br /> Recreation buildings, San Leandro Family Aquatic Center [during open season only], <br /> Boys & Girls Club) and Quarterly (City Hall, dance floor at Marina Community Center, <br /> and Main Library, including dance floor) <br /> Prior to being waxed and buffed, the tile floor area shall be swept, vacuumed and <br /> completely wet-mopped. Day Porters are <br /> anticipated for an 8-hour shift/day on week days, and a 4-hour shift (jail only) on <br /> weekends. <br /> F. City Park Restrooms —Sundays and Mondays Only, between April 1 and October <br /> 31, (days and months are subject to change - see locations below) 10 PM — 8 AM. <br /> Each Service Day: Clean and disinfect toilet bowls and urinals — inside and outside, <br /> including valves and external pipe connections; sweep and damp mop floors with <br /> germicidal cleaner; clean and disinfect sinks; check and fill all dispensers; and damp <br /> wipe extension of same fixtures.
