B,. All fees and charges related to Environmental Services programs shall be paid <br /> promptly in full. Failure to keep accounts current shall be grounds for revocation <br /> of approvals to operate. <br /> C. Compressed gas containers, cylinders, tanks, and systems shall comply with <br /> applicable Chapters; including Chapters 50, 53, 55, 61 and 63; of the California <br /> Fire Code or applicable adopted code at time of construction. <br /> Compressed gas cylinders and tanks shall be secured to prevent falling due to <br /> contact, vibration or seismic activity per 2013 California Fire Code §5305.5.3 for <br /> acceptable securing methods. Cylinders can also be stored outside in secure gated <br /> and locked enclosures with the exempt amounts listed in the 2013 California Fire <br /> Code Table 5003.1.1(3). <br /> D. Quantities of flammable and oxidizing gases shall comply with exempt amounts <br /> per control area per 2013 California Fire Code Table 5003.1.1(1-2). <br /> E. All hazardous waste generated on site shall be handled and disposed pursuant to <br /> applicable local, state and federal law. Generators of Hazardous Waste must <br /> register with the City's Environmental Services (local CUPA office) through the <br /> online California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). <br /> F. Discharge of anything other than rainwater to the stormwater collection system, <br /> including area drains, sidewalks, parking areas, street curb or gutter, is strictly <br /> prohibited. <br /> G. Container management of trash, solid waste, and recyclables shall be required to <br /> prevent exposure to or contamination of rainwater runoff. <br /> H. The elimination of exposure of materials,processes or equipment to the maximum <br /> extent practicable is necessary to prevent contamination of rainwater. Exposures <br /> that cannot be eliminated require use of Best Management Practices (BMPs), both <br /> engineered and policy/procedural,to prevent remaining exposures from impacting <br /> rainwater runoff. <br /> I. The storage of materials or installation of processes and/or equipment outdoors <br /> may place the facility into the General Industrial Stormwater Permit program and <br /> require submittal to the Regional Water Quality Control Board of a Notice of <br /> Intent (NOI) to comply with the Statewide General Industrial Facility Permit. <br /> Elimination of exposure to stormwater of materials or activities by relocating <br /> indoors, covering or utilizing engineered controls is highly recommended. If an <br /> NOI filing is required, it must be submitted prior to finaling of the building permit <br /> or issuance of certificate of occupancy. A copy of the NOI shall be provided to <br /> the City's Environmental Services office. <br /> J. The generation or discharge of wastewaters, other than domestic sewage, may <br /> require a pretreatment permit for discharge to the sanitary sewer.
