$AN City of San Leandro <br /> Meeting Date: March 2, 2015 <br /> Resolution - Council <br /> File Number: 15-064 Agenda Section: CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Agenda Number: <br /> TO: City Council <br /> FROM: Chris Zapata <br /> City Manager <br /> BY: Debbie Pollart <br /> Public Works Director <br /> FINANCE REVIEW: David Baum <br /> Finance Director <br /> TITLE: RESOLUTION Approving the 5-Year Golf Capital Improvement Program (CIP) <br /> Project Plan and Authorizing an Appropriation in the amount of$133,000 from <br /> the Golf Course Capital Improvement Fund for Identified Fiscal Year 2015 <br /> Projects at Monarch Bay Golf Club (Tony Lema and Marina Golf Courses) <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of San Leandro and American Golf <br /> Corporation (AGC) requires that AGC submit to the City for its review and approval a <br /> proposed 5-year budget for major capital improvements, refurbishment and enhancements to <br /> the Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, a summary of the proposed CIP projects and brief descriptions of each is <br /> presented to this City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to appropriate monies from the Golf Course <br /> Capital Improvement Program (CIP) fund, in an amount not to exceed $133,000, towards <br /> improvements at the Monarch Bay Golf Club; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said 5-year Golf CIP Project <br /> Plan and an appropriation of$133,000 for Fiscal Year 2015 projects. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That the new 5-year Golf Course Capital Improvement Project Plan, and an <br /> appropriation from the Golf Course Capital Improvement Program Fund, in an amount not to <br /> exceed $133,000 for capital improvements at Monarch Bay Golf Club, are approved and <br /> execution thereof by the City Manager is hereby authorized. <br /> City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 2/24/2015 <br />
