File Number: 15-473 <br />maintenance of City-owned facilities. <br />Permits and/or Variances Granted <br />A City of San Leandro Building Permit was obtained for this work. <br />Environmental Review <br />A categorical exemption from CEQA per Section 15301(c) for ‘Existing Facilities’ was filed with <br />Alameda County for this project on July 25, 2013. <br />Code Compliance Review <br />A City of San Leandro Building Permit was obtained for this project under the 2013 San <br />Leandro Building Code based on the 2012 International Building Code. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />A summary of the purchase order with AACPH is listed below: <br />Original Contract: $407,843.00 <br />Change Orders: $43,185.11 <br />Total Contract Amount: $451,028.11 <br />Major change order work involved the rental of portable air conditioning units to provide <br />cooling of the building during construction, and the replacement of existing rusted fire smoke <br />duct dampers that were exposed during construction. <br />The total project cost including design and construction management expenses is $645,000. <br />Budget Authority <br />This project was fully funded by $645,000 in existing appropriations of Building Maintenance <br />Funds as follows: <br />·$400,000 was appropriated to CIP account 687-18-136 as part of the mid-year budget <br />adjustment for FY 2012/13. <br />·$245,000 in additional funds from the Building Maintenance Fund for Facilities Capital <br />Improvements, 687-18-007, was transferred to account 687-18-136 in FY 2014/15 to <br />provide necessary funds for construction of the project. <br />ATTACHMENT <br />None. <br />PREPARED BY: Mark Goralka, Associate Engineer, Engineering and Transportation <br />Department <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 9/15/2015
