weather station via radio. Scope of work includes demo of old controller, installation, wiring,
programming, and testing of new controller. New controller's base programming will match the
programming of the old controller as much as possible unless otherwise requested by City personnel.
Rain Bird controller will also have the capacity for future upgrade to remote control capability, but this
was not included in this project due to ongoing costs involved.
' Install a brass flow sensor / master valve assembly capable of detecting an unexpected high flow event
(ruptured pipe) and responding by shutting off the water supply. Scope includes the installation of the
flow sensor, interlock to the master valve, typical trenching requirements and start-up/testing of the new
system. If any major issues are discovered during the construction phase while uncovering the existing
system, the issues will be compiled in a brief report and submitted to the City for further action.
Marina Park
Lighting
Retrofit existing outdoor HID fixtures to new, high -efficiency LED fixtures which will provide long life
and instant start capability. Refer to the lighting inventory for specific locations and applications.
Irrigation
Add cellular radio to one (1) existing Calsense controller. The other two controllers will communicate
with the cellular -enabled controller to make use of its cellular connection Cellular radio will allow the
controller to receive live weather/ET data for adjustment of watering durations. Radio will also allow
for remote control of the irrigation controller. Existing controller programming will not be changed as
part of this project.
Install three (3) brass flow sensor / master valve assemblies capable of detecting an unexpected high flow
event (ruptured pipe) and responding by shutting off the water supply.
