payment, that dollar amount which equals the level of education -experience category achieved as of the <br />date of the Program's termination. Such payment shall not continue once an employee terminates <br />employment as a sworn member of the San Leandro Police Department. <br />B. Educational Incentive Program <br />Effective March 1, 1998, represented employees with five (S) full years or more of service with the San <br />Leandro Police Department who are not eligible for the Police Development Incentive Program, shall be <br />eligible for the following Educational Incentive Program: <br />Category <br />Certificate <br />MonthlyAmount <br />Leundi <br />A <br />PL <br />3% <br />P.I. = POST Intermediate <br />B <br />P.A. <br />S% <br />P.A. = POST Advanced <br />or <br />AA. =Associate Degree <br />C <br />A.A. <br />3% <br />Bac. = Baccalaureate <br />D <br />Bac. <br />S% <br />Maximum amount payable under the Educational Incentive Program is S%. Payment shall be made by <br />separate check on or before June S and December S, of each calendar year. Such payments shall not <br />continue once an employee terminated employment as a sworn member of the San Leandro Police <br />Department <br />In addition, employees in the PDIP program may elect to discontinue participation in that program and <br />participate in the Educational Incentive Program set forth in this section. <br />8/. For the period commencing July 1, 1995, Administrative Specialist -Police and Police Services Aides, <br />Jailers and Public Safety Dispatchers who are assigned for at least thirty (30) consecutive days to a duty <br />assignment which is required to be manned twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, shall receive a <br />total of One Hundred Dollars ($100) per month pay differential when so assigned. <br />For the period commencing July 1, 1995, the Police Services Aide who performs clerical duties in the <br />Investigation Division, the Police Services Aide who performs duties in the Warrants Section, and the <br />Police Services Aide who performs D.A. Court Liaison and witness duties shall receive a total of Twenty- <br />five Dollars ($25) per month pay differential when so assigned. <br />9/ For the period of time that a Public Safety Dispatcher or Police Services Aide is acting as a trainer, he/she <br />shall receive an additional five percent (5%) pay differential. <br />10/ For the period commencing July 1, 1995, the Police Services Aide who regularly performs Administrative <br />Secretary duties for the Police Chief will receive a ten percent (10%) pay differential, and the Police <br />Services Aide who regularly performs clerical duties for the Investigation Division will receive a five <br />percent (5%) pay differential. <br />12 <br />
