49 <br />Organized by date, an editorial calendar could include interviews with artists, <br />developers, designers, and others championing arts and culture in San Leandro, <br />images of public art in progress, performance dates, and other events. Members <br />of the community could submit photos of art that inspires them from places in <br />and outside San Leandro. Potential partners include San Leandro High SLAM <br />and AP Art classes as well as arts ambassadors in the community who can help <br />maintain the calendar. <br />VIDEO <br />The City’s art collection, temporary and permanent installations, and special <br />events can be brought to life through video sharing channels like YouTube and <br />Vimeo, allowing the public to discover and share original videos. A Public Art <br />Program channel can be established on these networks to allow a page owner <br />to track demographics and consumption of content. Content can be searched <br />through a database; viewers can “like” and comment on favorite videos, share <br />embed videos on their own personal social media networks and blogs, and <br />subscribe to the Public Art Program channel for a one source video feed. <br />SMART PHONE <br /> “ The Public Art Program can <br />participate in a variety of social <br />media platforms to raise awareness <br />of upcoming artist opportunities, <br />exhibitions, and special public art <br />events and activities.” <br />60
