File Number: 17-489 <br />Services include maintenance of medians and other right-of-way landscapes, and/or weed <br />abatement in forty-eight (48) distinct locations throughout the City including major streets such as <br />E. 14th Street, Davis Street, Marina Boulevard, San Leandro Boulevard, Doolittle Drive, and <br />Macarthur Boulevard. Services include mowing, plant trimming, irrigation monitoring and repair, <br />litter abatement, and weed abatement. The contract will extend through June 30, 2018, with the <br />option for the City to extend the contract annually for three additional years by contract <br />amendment. <br />Previous Actions <br />·Resolution 2016-025 Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Non-Professional <br />Services Agreement with Pacheco Brothers Gardening, Inc. for Citywide Medians <br />Maintenance <br /> <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />This General Fund service contract will cost $189,712. The FY 2017-18 contract price includes <br />$14,976 per month plus an additional $10,000 per year for additional planting services.
