D. Participant shall incorporate, or cause to be incorporated, in all subcontracts for work to be performed under this Agreement a provision prohibiting such interest pursuant to the purposes of this section. 5. POLITICAL ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. None of the funds, materials, property or services contributed by the City or Participant under this Agreement shall be used for any partisan political activity, or to further the election or defeat of any candidate for public office. 6. LOBBYING. To the best of Participant's knowledge and belief: A. No Federal-appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid, by or on behalf of it, to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection with the awarding of any Federal grant, the making of any Federal loan, the entering into of any cooperative agreement, and the extension, continuation, renewal, amendment, or modification of any Federal contract, grant, loan or cooperative agreement; B. If any funds other than Federal-appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid to any person for influencing or attempting to influence an officer or employee of any agency, a Member of Congress, an officer or employee of Congress, or an employee of a Member of Congress in connection with this Federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement, Participant will complete and submit Standard Form -LLL, "Disclosure Form to Report Lobbying", in accordance with its instructions; and C. Participant will require that the language of paragraph (b)of this certification be included in the award documents for all subawards at all tier's (including subcontracts, subgrants,'and contracts under grants, loans, and cooperative agreements) and that all Participants shall certify and disclose accordingly; 7. RELIGIOUS ACTIVITY PROHIBITED. There shall be no religious worship, instruction proselytization as part of, or in connection with the performance of this Agreement. Participant shall comply with the provisions of 24 CFR 570.200 6)(2). 8. EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY. A. Affirmative Action in Employment 1) Participant shall comply with the Affirmative Action Program and Equal Employment requirements of the City, State and Federal Government. 2) During the performance of this Agreement, Participant agrees as follows: a. Participant will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, handicap, age, or national origin.
