<br /> <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and 3/16/18 <br />Glass Architects for the Family Aquatic Center Competition Pool Exhibit A – Page 2 of 4 <br /> <br />Design Development <br />This phase will develop the approved conceptual plan option in more detail, including all <br />engineering disciplines, to a fifty percent (50%) completion stage, including: <br />• A topographic survey of the immediate project area <br />• Two (2) meetings with City and Recreation Department staff to obtain ongoing input <br />during the development of the documents. <br />• An outline of the technical specification sections to be provided. <br />• Incorporation and / or response to City comments on the design development submittal <br />• An updated cost estimate will be developed at the conclusion of this phase. Consultant to <br />recommend scope reductions as needed to keep this project on within budget. <br /> Construction Documents <br />This phase will develop the PS&E in more detail, including all engineering disciplines, to a hundred percent (100%) completion stage, including: <br />• Complete Construction Plans, Technical Specifications, and Cost Estimate <br />• Regulatory agency coordination with the City Building Department and County Health Department to identify concerns, comments and requirements. <br />• Permit submittals and approvals <br />• Up to three (3) meetings with City and Recreation Department staff to obtain ongoing <br />input during the development of the documents. <br />• Consultant to recommend scope reductions as needed to keep this project on within <br />budget. <br />• Incorporation and / or response to City comments on the 100% PS&E to create a ‘final’ <br />bid document package. <br /> Bidding Support <br />During the bid phase, the consultant will: <br />• Provide final signed bid set PS&E <br />• Attend two pre-bid meetings <br />• Respond to bid questions and issue addenda during bidding as necessary. <br />Construction Administration Support <br />During construction, the consultant will: <br />• Attend two site visits each month to observe construction and participate in job site meetings. <br />• Review shop drawings and submittals; maintain summary log of all submittals received <br />and their responses. <br />• Answer requests for information (RFIs); issue architect’s supplement instructions (ASI) and Architect Price Requests (APRs) as needed. Maintain summary log of all requests <br />and their responses. <br />• Prepare a final punch list <br />• Generally assist the Owner during the construction period. <br />1504
