File Number: 18-271 <br />The agreement also calls for the City Manager to provide in writing a line of succession of officials, with <br />a minimum number of three persons, who are empowered to represent the City at the Alameda County <br />Operational Area Emergency Management Organization. <br />Approval of the attached resolution by the City Council would enable the City Manager to move forward <br />with designating the appropriate staff resources to fulfill these various roles. <br />Previous City Council Actions <br />The most recent agreement for participation in the Alameda County Office of Emergency Services was <br />adopted by resolution on June 27, 2005, which superseded a prior agreement that was adopted by the <br />City Council on June 5, 1995. <br />Applicable General Plan Policy <br />Policy EH - 6.1: Preparedness as a Top Priority <br />Action EH - 6.1.A Essential Service Facility Upgrades <br />Policy EH - 6.2.
