By taking this apppoaoh, our <br />staff concentrates its efforts On understanding their role and responsibilities tOthe public, being <br />informed on where and hOvv to pay to park and finaUy, how to interact with the public in 8 <br />positive way. <br />Parking enforcement is a crucial service provided in any downtown area and must be performed <br />in 8 consistent professional manner with CUStODler S8n/iDe at the very COr8 of the operations. <br />Not only do we train our parking enforcement penGOOO8| with the heS1 certified instructors in the <br />COuOtry. our team is led by individuals that have actually served in the rO|8 Of @ parking <br />enforcement officer in other municipalities. This hands-on knowledge alone sets US apart from <br />other operators. <br />SP+ Municipal Services will ensure that all enforcement officers are properly trained ani <br />certified with specific understanding of San Leandro municipal codes and state statutes. <br />Emphasis will be placed on maintaining a professional image through personal appearance, <br />courtesy and positive public relations. <br />Parking enforcement activities shall b8performed: <br />� <br />Fair and consistent as dictated by the City OfSan LeaOdnD, city code and state statutes. <br />� <br />Assist downtown customers with directions and other information. <br />� <br />SP+ Municipal Services stresses that Ambassadors ARE NOT police officers, do not <br />carry firearms and have DDarrest authority. <br />+ <br />Enforcement staff Gh@|| patrol and monitor all parking enforcement 8neG8 either by <br />walking, use of vehicle.
