July 3, 2019Facilities & Transportation <br />Committee <br />Minutes <br />meeting. <br />2.E.19-387 Staff Update on Land Development Projects <br />Due to the length of the meeting the Update on the Land Development Projects <br />was postponed until the next meeting. <br />2.F.19-388 Discussion Regarding Future Agenda Items <br />FutureAgendaItemsAttachments: <br />Director Keith Cooke discussed agenda items for the next Facilities & <br />Transportation Meeting. Next Facilities and Transportation meeting will be <br />scheduled in later July as a special meeting. Future items to include: <br />a. Neptune Drive FEMA Flood Control Project <br />b. Eden Road <br />c. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program <br />d. Crosswalk Request and Recommendations <br />e. Bicycle Network - West <br />f. Automatic Red-Light Enforcement <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS3. <br />Mr. Mike Santos listed accomplishments of his father, former Mayor Tony <br />Santos. He also detailed his service as a council member to the community <br />over the years. On behalf of his mother and himself, he declined the offer of <br />naming a play area in Grover Cleveland Park after his father and requested <br />consideration of renaming the park. <br />Ms. Sarah Bailey and Estudillo Estates HOA President Bahar Navab discussed <br />concerns about the plans for an enhanced pedestrian crosswalk at the Haas <br />and Bancroft intersection. And provided comments regarding the bus stop <br />location, to increase pedestrian safety and options to work-around established <br />city street trees. <br />COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS4. <br />Mayor requested that issues related to the Marina Development be brought to <br />the Committee. <br />ADJOURN5. <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:39 p.m. <br />Page 3City of San Leandro <br />401
