ID # Description <br />Vendor <br />Response <br />(see Index) <br />Comment <br />1.4 <br />LIMS shall generate a chain-of-custody (COC) report for <br />samples received. <br />1.4.1 COC templates shall be configurable such that a <br />group of samples collected for a project or customer can <br />be placed on one sheet. <br />1.4.2 LIMS can generate COC forms for scheduled <br />samples that are not yet logged in. <br />1.4.3 COC forms shall be configurable to contain all user <br />defined sample parameters. <br /> <br />1.5 <br />LIMS shall allow the option to automatically login selected <br />routine pre-scheduled samples without first being <br />manually received in the laboratory. <br /> <br /> <br />1.6 Scheduled samples not collected or received shall trigger <br />an alert status or email. <br /> <br />1.7 LIMS shall allow scheduled samples to be cancelled or <br />rescheduled. <br /> <br />1.8 LIMS shall allow making changes to analyses assigned to <br />scheduled samples. <br /> <br />1.9 <br />Sample scheduling shall include the following <br />frequencies: daily, specific day(s) of week, monthly, bi- <br />monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually and specific <br />date. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2. Sample Log-in and Tracking <br /> <br />ID # Description <br />Vendor <br />Response <br />(see Index) <br />Comment <br />2.1 LIMS shall be able to auto-log, pre-log and ad hoc log in <br />samples. <br /> <br />2.2 <br />LIMS shall assign a unique Field ID code to each <br />scheduled or received sample, and be able to either <br />generate this code or accept an externally-generated <br />Field ID code. <br /> <br />2.3 <br />LIMS shall assign all logged-in samples (samples <br />received in the laboratory) a unique Sample Identification <br />Number, even if the sample has multiple analyses <br />associated with it. <br /> <br />2.4 <br />LIMS shall be able to uniquely identify sample containers <br />that hold samples to be tested, including identifying all <br />samples, subsamples, preservations, sample containers, <br />tests, and subsequent extracts and/or digestates. <br /> <br />2.5 LIMS shall allow for the simultaneous log-in of different <br />samples at more than one workstation. <br /> <br />2.6 LIMS shall allow for manual and automatic assignment of <br />sample priorities to samples. <br />2.7 LIMS shall have user-configurable log-in templates for <br />routine, scheduled and common sample types. <br /> <br />2299
