While aircraft noise is occasionally audible on the project site, aircraft noise <br />associated with nearby airport activity would not expose people residing or working near the <br />project site to excessive noise levels. Therefore, impacts would be less than significant. <br />Conclusion <br />The General Plan EIR identified significant and unavoidable impacts to substantial permanent <br />increases in ambient noise levels related to transportation. As the project would not double <br />transportation volumes that currently exist along Halcyon Drive, project-specific noise impacts <br />would not be more severe than identified in the General Plan EIR, and the project would not result <br />in new specific effects that were not addressed in the General Plan EIR. Impacts to the project from <br />existing transportation noise sources would be reduced in accordance with General Plan Action EH- <br />7.1.A and General Plan Policies EH-7.3 and EH-7.6. The project would not require new mitigation <br />measures in addition to those required to reduce impacts from construction noise established in the <br />General Plan EIR under Mitigation Measure NOI-4. Accordingly, no additional review is required.
