City of San Leandro Meeting Date: January 4, 2022 Resolution - Council Agenda Section:File Number:21-754 CONSENT CALENDAR Agenda Number: TO:City Council FROM:Fran Robustelli City Manager BY:Tom Liao Community Development Director and Andrew Mogensen Planning Manager FINANCE REVIEW:Not Applicable TITLE:RESOLUTION of the City of San Leandro City Council to Approve and Authorize the City Manager to Execute Amendment No. 1 to a Consulting Services Agreement with SWCA Environmental Consultants for On-Call Planning Services by $115,000 to an Amount Not to Exceed $150,000 (to be Fully Cost Recoverable Through Applicable Developer Planning Fees) WHEREAS, following a competitive selection process, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2020-057 authorizing SWCA Environmental Consultants (“Consultant”) to enter into Professional Services Agreements with the City of San Leandro (“City”); and WHEREAS, on July 27, 2021 the City entered into a Consulting Services Agreement with SWCA Environmental Consultants for on-call planning services for a maximum not to exceed amount of $35,000.00; and WHEREAS, the City seeks to amend the Consulting Services Agreement by $115,000 to increase the available funding to an amount not to exceed $150,000.00 and extend the contract end date by 12 months from June 30, 2022 through June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, an amendment to the agreement between the City of San Leandro and SWCA Environmental Consultants, a copy of which is attached and incorporated herein, is presented to this City Council; and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of said agreements.
