Therefore, compliance with the regulations found in the Certified EIR regarding air navigation hazards, would ensure the associated safety hazards for people residing or working in the Modified Project area would be less than significant. As described in Section 4.7.1.1, Regulatory Framework, of the Certified EIR, compliance with applicable federal, State, and local laws and regulations regarding emergency preparedness would ensure future development under the Modified Project, which does not alter the footprints of proposed buildings at the project site, would not interfere with an adopted emergency response plan or emergency evacuation plan, such as the Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, and, therefore, impacts would remain less than significant and the Modified Project would not result in a new impact or a substantial increase in magnitude of the existing impacts. Furthermore, the Modified Project, consistent with the Original Project, is not located within ¼-mile of an existing or proposed school, is not located on an agency-listed hazardous materials site that could result in a significant hazard to the public or the environment, is not on or in the vicinity of a private airstrip, and is not within an area where wildland fires pose a significant risk of loss, injury, or death. Therefore, there are no additional impacts or increase in the severity of impacts related to hazards and hazardous materials.
