What property would be affected and have any of these
property owners been contacted?
Additional traffic created by Davis Street Development must be kept off
Davis Street. As
residents we have more than our share of trucking now and do not want
any more. The issue will not go away and we
will continue to convince city staff that pollution is a serious problem
and that quality of life issues are at stake.
This is a paramount issue for any future development.
3) It is obvious from past planning/council meetings that Fed Ex be it
ground or air has a stigma attached. If
they are successful in their bid for a building within your
development we request that no other space be leased to Fed Ex -
Ground or Express.
4) Any vehicles using the Bay Side Business Center would comply
with clean air requirements - fuels such as CNG or other fuels that
are environmental friendly.
5) Development of Eden Road with access back to Davis Street be
accomplished in five years - not 25 years and that traffic be
diverted away from Davis Street.
6) Tax increment dollars be returned to West San Leandro for
numerous projects that have long been left unattended
beautification, Walnut Dr. Street and sidewalks, etc.
