It was recommended that there be a 30-day standard follow-up
expectation regarding issues that come forward at Town Hall Meetings.
5. Committee Member Comments
Council Member Santos remarked that he would like to see the Rules Committee take up the
following issues:
Mayor/Council Member Budgets
Mayor's Community Fund
Intergovernmental Agency appointments to Committees that provide a stipend per meeting.
Committee Member Glaze reminded Committee Member Santos that the full City Council
refers issues to Committees and that he would have to bring those issues up at a City Council
Meeting.
6. Public Comments
Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Dr., addressed the Committee regarding speaker cards at City
Council Meetings, how Town Hall Meetings should be conducted, that there should be a
separate Agenda for the Redevelopment Agency, and concluded with the belief that the public
has a right to have their remarks be verbatim in the Minutes.
7. Adjourn
The meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
