CONCLUSION <br />Taken as a whole. the Economic Development Strategy and Work Plan provides the City of <br />San Leandro with a powerful tool to use in turning its vision for the local economy into <br />reality. By establishing and maintaining the Economic Development Strategy and Work <br />Plan. the Cite provides a focus for its economic development efforts and a useful vehicle <br />for developing greater awareness of the Citv's objectives and the resources that must be <br />committed in order to achieve them. Economic development is a multi -faceted endeavor. <br />and the range of programs contained in this document responds to that challenge by calling <br />for the mobilization of a range of local stakeholders to work in pursuit of the vision. <br />Ultimately. the success of the Strategy will depend on broad -based community support of <br />the vision and a commitment to follow through with the required actions. <br />28441 74 <br />
