10/14/97 19:38
V510 278 6547
EBDA
444 BOB ROCKETT 0 004/020
1 authorizes an
additional 20.2 MGD
of interruptible
capacity, in addition to the firm
2 capacity of 19.72 MGD and interruptible capacity of 1.28 MGD provided in the existing
3 agreements.
4 1.2 "Interruptible flow basis" means that all LAVWMA instantaneous flow rates
5 exceeding 19.72 MGD are restricted to the difference between the EBDA pipeline's
6 maximum capacity of approximately 189.1 MGD and the actual total combined
7 instantaneous flow from all EBDA member agencies plus LAVWMA's firm capacity of
8 19.72 MGD of instantaneous rate of flow. This additional flow is the interruptible capacity.
9 The interruptible capacity is variable and dynamic as the actual flow rates change
10 continuously throughout any given hour, day and season. As an example, for the total
11 system capacity of 189.1 MGD, when the combined EBDA member agency instantaneous
12 flow reaches 169.4 MGD, all L.AI( 'hnstantaneous flow beyond 19,72 MGD shall be
13 interrupted.
14 1.3 The parties shall cooperate in developing a separate operating procedure
15 that fully describes operation, responsibilities, and communication procedures during wet
16 weather flow conditions such that both systems are protected and that spills and/or
17 overflows are prevented_ Said operating procedure shall not in any way modify the terms
18 and conditions set forth in this Agreement.
19 4 Ths'.'?gr beta.^:t entire tntc mct >f?.,paties
p.. .. 4. .:. ...
'A"20'
2106
^sw: .(%ri
✓' 1 .•, tp] (.
22 _.._ ! < ;10101
!.............
