The City Council certified the Negative Declaration for PD- 97-5 as complete and in compliance with CEQA requirements; approved the Rezoning of A-97-6 to RS (PD) Residential, Single -Family, Planned Development Overlay District; and approved the Planned Development, PD-97-5, subject to the Conditions of Approval. City Council Consensus (New Business). Re. an Ordinance Establishing Compensation of the Mayor (establishes the -- 06-16-97 -- salary of the Mayor at $1,632 per month). Council discussion continued, and it was the consensus of Council that they act on something that the majority of the Council could agree upon at this time and that the proposal for increases would be sent back to the Policy Committee for further input and discussion. Economic Development Marketing Plan; Matter of Motion Creating and Appointing Members to a City Council Ad Hoc 97-28 06-30-97 1315/ Committee for the Purpose of Appointing a Community Planning 2774 Committee to Oversee the Development of the Marketing Plan. The City Council created and appointed Mayor Corbett, Vice Mayor Loeffler, and Council Member Galvan to a new City Council Ad Hoc Committee for the Purpose of Appointing the Existing EDAC Committee as the Community Planning Committee to Oversee the Development of the Marketing Plan. Economic Development Strategy, Motion Approving the. The 97-29 06-30-97 1315/ City Council approved the Economic Development Strategy, as 2774 presented. Tony Lema Golf Course - Agreement with Steve Elbe Golf Shop, Inc., Matter of. The City Council confirmed the results of 97-30 06-30-97 2448 the negotiations; authorized the City Manager to execute the Golf Course Services Purchase Agreement and a Personal Services Agreement with Mr. Elbe; and directed the City Manager to commence the process of obtaining qualified proposals for the private management of the Golf Course.
