City of San Leandro - Parking Enforcement <br />Scope of Work - LAZ Parking <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />Optimized Parking Enforcement Support <br />LAZ is willing to fully comply with all duties and responsibilities required by the City of San <br />Leandro to monitor, maintain and manage as well as provide regular enforcement of current <br />and future parking meters. According to the RFP that includes approximately 255 POM single <br />space meters, soon to be installed, approximately 100 Mackay Beacon single space meters, and <br />installed at the City’s garage are 2 Parkeon pay-by-plate pay stations. LAZ has extensive <br />experience in operating all aspects of San Leandro’s parking system including POM, MacKay, <br />Parkeon, Parkmobile, and Auto Vu. In addition, we would be happy to assist with the <br />solicitation of Smart Parking technology and offer our expertise. <br />LAZ PARKING TO PROVIDE THE CITY: <br /> <br />Equipment <br />o LAZ is happy to support the City with purchasing 2 patrol vehicles and relocate and install <br />the existing ALPR system on a purchased vehicle. This service will be included in our pricing. <br /> <br />If awarded the contract the LAZ operation team will work closely with the City to determine the <br />best vehicles to suited to match the city current needs and align them with your long-term <br />goals. LAZ recommends an electric or zero emission vehicle to meet California's health-based <br />air quality standards and greenhouse gas emission reduction goals. <br /> <br />WORK DUTIES INCLUDE <br />• Patrol assigned areas and issue parking citations or warning notices for observed <br />violations. <br />• Monitor and report malfunctioning parking equipment, damaged markings and signs. <br />• Complete data entry required for parking violations and upload such data for <br />processing. <br /> <br />LAZ WILL MONITOR AND THE FOLLOWING AREAS <br /> <br />• Central Business Districts (CBD) <br />o Enforcement of expired meters and time limits for on and off-street parking, <br />including the Estudillo Garage, between the hours of 8:00AM and 6:00PM, <br />Monday through Saturday, except for City holidays. <br />• Residential Parking Permits <br />o Residential parking permit areas patrolled at various times throughout the <br />restricted time periods. <br /> <br />• Neighborhood Concerns
