2.0 <br />PROJECT INFORMATION <br />2.1 PROJECT LOCATION <br />The final standard design may be applied to any of the public park facilities within <br />the City, with an initial emphasis on Marina, Toyon, Halcyon, Chabot and Bonaire <br />Parks. <br />2.2 PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />Begin Design <br />Initial Meeting with City Staff <br />Preliminary Design <br />Final Design <br />Bid and Award Marina Park <br />Construction Marina Park <br />WORK ELEMENTS <br />1 week after Notice to Proceed <br />2 weeks after Notice to Proceed <br />8 weeks after Notice to Proceed <br />14 weeks after Notice to Proceed <br />September/October 1996 <br />November 1996 <br />3.2.1 Review of existing facilities and collection of background information. <br />Assemble and review available documentation from City files and conduct <br />meetings and /or interviews with City staff regarding the various design <br />aspects. Inventory existing conditions and uses at each facility including <br />visual records (i.e. photographs and/or video). <br />3.2.3 Preliminary Design and Construction Estimates <br />Provide preliminary plans, specifications, product information and <br />construction estimates and analyses of estimated costs for various material <br />and layout choices at appropriate times during the design process to allow <br />the City to provide direction for final designs. <br />A. Initial Project Meetings and Site Visits - <br />• Meet with City staff to discuss project requirements and <br />parameters. <br />• City makes available existing pertinent data and standards. <br />• Tour of at least four sites with City staff. <br />B.
