4. A comparison of the existing facilities to the stated standards and <br />community needs. <br />5. Cost Comparisons for various design choices. <br />6. Recommendations for final design incorporating suggested and <br />selected parameters. (Includes one meeting with City Staff) <br />3.3.2. Cost Estimates <br />The Contractor shall prepare detailed written cost estimates. At a <br />minimum, the estimates shall be presented for the following: <br />1. Construction cost estimates to assess various materials, layouts, etc. <br />at the conclusion of the Design Development Phase. The intent is <br />to provide the City with adequate information to make decisions for <br />final design. <br />2. Final construction cost estimates based upon the final Construction <br />Documents. <br />3.3.3 Plans and Specifications <br />Prepare plans and specification at a minimum for the following: <br />Design Development <br />The Contractor shall prepare preliminary and intermediate construction <br />plans, sketches, specifications, photographs and product information to <br />assess various materials, layouts, etc. throughout the design process. The <br />intent is to provide the City with adequate information to make decisions <br />for final design. Preliminary plans specifications and cost estimates shall be <br />required at 30%, 70% and 100% stages of the design process for City <br />review and approval. Eight sets of the required documents shall be <br />submitted to the City at each stage (Includes 2 meetings with City Staff). <br />Construction Documents <br />The Contractor shall prepare final detailed construction plans and <br />specifications (bid documents) based on the final design parameters <br />approved by the City.
