Cost Estimates The Contractor shall prepare detailed written cost estimates. At a minimum, the estimates shall be presented for the following: 1. Construction cost estimates to assess various materials, layouts, etc. at the conclusion of the Design Development Phase. The intent is to provide the City with adequate information to make decisions for final design. 2. Final construction cost estimates based upon the final Construction Documents. 3.3.3 Plans and Specifications Prepare plans and specification at a minimum for the following: Design Development The Contractor shall prepare preliminary and intermediate construction plans, sketches, specifications, photographs and product information to assess various materials, layouts, etc. throughout the design process. The intent is to provide the City with adequate information to make decisions for final design. Preliminary plans specifications and cost estimates shall be required at 30%, 70% and 100% stages of the design process for City review and approval. Eight sets of the required documents shall be submitted to the City at each stage (Includes 2 meetings with City Staff). Construction Documents The Contractor shall prepare final detailed construction plans and specifications (bid documents) based on the final design parameters approved by the City.
