methods, techniques, sequences or procedures. The approval of a specified item shall not <br />indicate approval of an assembly of which the item is a component. <br />6. Prepare supplemental drawings and clarifications, if required and requested by the City <br />construction manager, to clarify the design intent. <br />7. Assist the City construction manager with the construction manager's responsibility for <br />processing change orders by preparing technical documentation to describe the portion of <br />Work to be added, deleted or modified by change orders as a result of ambiguities, <br />conflicts or deficiencies discovered in the construction documents, conditions of the <br />Work uncovered at the construction site or changes in the scope of the Project. The <br />change orders shall be prepared and processed by the City construction manager. <br />A Documentation required to be prepared on account of ambiguities, conflicts or <br />deficiencies discovered in the construction documents shall be provided by the <br />Contractor as a basic service and no additional compensation shall be paid to the <br />Contractor on account of providing the services. <br />B. Documentation required to be prepared on account of conditions of the Work <br />uncovered at the construction site or changes in the scope of the Project caused <br />through no fault of the Contractor shall be provided as an extra or additional <br />service and additional compensation paid to the Contractor on account of the <br />Contractor providing the service. <br />8. Review non -conforming data material test data prepared by a testing and inspection <br />company who is independently contracted with the City to provide testing and inspection <br />services to the Project. <br />9. Assist the City construction manager with the construction manager's responsibility for <br />evaluating the construction contractor's application for payment and for reviewing and <br />certifying amounts due the construction contractor by reviewing the application for <br />payment for conformance with the progress of the Work based on the Contractor's <br />observations of the Work. <br />10. Assist the City construction manager with the constriction manager's responsibility for <br />reviewing the Work and determining the dates of substantial completion and final <br />completion and issue a final certificate of payment by visiting the site with or without the <br />construction manager and construction contractor to review the construction contractor's <br />punch list for compliance with the Work in -place and the intent of the Contract <br />Documents.
