methods, techniques, sequences or procedures. The approval of a specified item shall not indicate approval of an assembly of which the item is a component. 6. Prepare supplemental drawings and clarifications, if required and requested by the City construction manager, to clarify the design intent. 7. Assist the City construction manager with the construction manager's responsibility for processing change orders by preparing technical documentation to describe the portion of Work to be added, deleted or modified by change orders as a result of ambiguities, conflicts or deficiencies discovered in the construction documents, conditions of the Work uncovered at the construction site or changes in the scope of the Project. The change orders shall be prepared and processed by the City construction manager. A Documentation required to be prepared on account of ambiguities, conflicts or deficiencies discovered in the construction documents shall be provided by the Contractor as a basic service and no additional compensation shall be paid to the Contractor on account of providing the services. B. Documentation required to be prepared on account of conditions of the Work uncovered at the construction site or changes in the scope of the Project caused through no fault of the Contractor shall be provided as an extra or additional service and additional compensation paid to the Contractor on account of the Contractor providing the service. 8. Review non -conforming data material test data prepared by a testing and inspection company who is independently contracted with the City to provide testing and inspection services to the Project. 9. Assist the City construction manager with the construction manager's responsibility for evaluating the construction contractor's application for payment and for reviewing and certifying amounts due the construction contractor by reviewing the application for payment for conformance with the progress of the Work based on the Contractor's observations of the Work. 10. Assist the City construction manager with the constriction manager's responsibility for reviewing the Work and determining the dates of substantial completion and final completion and issue a final certificate of payment by visiting the site with or without the construction manager and construction contractor to review the construction contractor's punch list for compliance with the Work in -place and the intent of the Contract Documents. Identify additional items of Work, if any, to be added to the punch list, or items of Work to be removed on account of conformance with the Contract Documents.
