Supportive services promote the development of skills needed to enable <br />households to achieve permanent housing and self-sufficiency. <br />Building Futures with Women and Children <br />0 Formerly known as San Leandro Shelter for Women and Shelter (SLSWC), Received <br />CDBG and Community Assistance funds for operational costs of the San Leandro <br />Shelter and the Safe House. <br />Shelter Against Violent Environments (Wings) <br />0 Received facility improvement funds for repairs to the transitional housing apartments <br />for survivors of domestic violence. <br />Family Emergency Shelter Coalition (FESCO) <br />0 A HOME fund Allocation was added to the CDBG award made last year. The <br />FESCO Mid -Length Transitional Housing is a regional project located in the <br />unincorporated area of Alameda County, serving clients from various parts of the <br />county. The project was completed in March 2002. <br />Geographic Distribution and Location of Expenditures: <br />The San Leandro Shelter and safe house are located in San Leandro; the SAVE shelter is <br />located in Hayward; the FESCO Transitional Housing is located in the unincorporated <br />county area. <br />
