SHORELINE DEVELOPMENT CITIZENS ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />GROUP PROJECT <br />Goal, Guidelines, Assumptions, Materials & Process <br />Goal: Develop a conceptual site plan (one plan) for the City's 40-acre shoreline opportunity site. <br />Group Guidelines: <br />1. Groups may name themselves, but it is not necessary. <br />2. A CAC member will be appointed as group organizer and this individual will schedule meetings. <br />3. Another CAC member will be appointed as group analyst. This individual will work with City staff <br />and Cal -Coast Development to determine rough financial projections of the proposed plans. <br />4. Groups may choose a facilitator to moderate the meetings, but it is not required. <br />5. Groups should meet a minimum of three times. <br />6. Group meetings can take place at members' homes or a public location such as a caf6 or a restaurant. <br />Possible public meeting places include: <br />a. A conference room at the City's Main Library, or <br />b. Map of the City's Shoreline Development Opportunity Site. <br />2. Clean Base Map of the Shoreline Area with existing building footprints. <br />3. Aerial Photograph/Map of the existing site conditions at the shoreline. <br />4. Engineer's scale. <br />5. Dry erase pens or colored pencils. <br />6. One binder with copies of all documents that have been distributed to date, as well as: <br />a. The Marina Connections Plan <br />b. Environmental Science Associate's (ESA) Opportunities and Constraints Analysis <br />c. Godbe's Revenue Measure Feasibility Survey <br />d. Notes from previous Town Hall meetings regarding the City's Shoreline Area <br />e. Photos and research notes about other harbors and marinas <br />f. Information regarding existing coverage of water <br />
