SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />TITLE 16 HANDICAPPED ACCESS APPEALS BOARD <br />Chapter 1 Rules of Procedure <br />(2) To introduce documentary and physical evidence. <br />(3) To cross-examine opposing witnesses on any matter relevant to the issues of the <br />hearing. <br />(4) To impeach any witness regardless of which party first called him the witness to <br />testify. <br />(5) To rebut the evidence again. <br />(6) To represent himself themselves or to be represented by any one of his choice. <br />AMYL,; ORDER OF DDl1!'F T1TN!`C. With the consent of the Board, the Chair may <br />establish the order for presentation of evidence. In absence of any such determination by the <br />Chair, the appellant shall proceed first, followed by the respondent and thereafter followed by <br />rebuttals from each with public comment, if any, following at the conclusion of the last rebuttal. <br />At the close of the Hearing the Board shall deliberate and vote on the matter. The Board may <br />approve or deny an appeal with findings, or continue an item to a future meeting. No evidence <br />shall be taken after the closing of the Hearing. The Hearinz may be reopened for the taking of <br />further evidence, at the discretion of the Board. <br />ARTICLE 5—VOTING <br />§16.1.500: MANNER OF TAKING VOTE. The vote shall be taken by show of hands, <br />voice vote, roll call, or electronic voting. <br />06.1.505: MAJORITY VOTE. All Board actions shall require the affirmative votes of a <br />majority of the members of the Board. <br />ARTICLE 6—RELATIONS WITH PRESS, THE GENERAL PUBLIC, THE CITY <br />COUNCIL AND OTHER BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />§16.1.600: INFORMATION THROUGH CHAIR. All information on action by the Board <br />shall be released only by the Secretary or the Chair, unless by majority vote the Board shall give <br />such authority to another member of the Board.
