SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE <br />TITLE 16 HANDICAPPED ACCESS APPEALS BOARD <br />Chapter 1 Rules of Procedure <br />416.1.605: INFORMATION THROUGH OTHER BOARD MEMBER, Any Board <br />Member may give a personal evaluation of a Board action, as long as it is made as a private <br />citizen and so quoted. <br />ARTICLE 7-APPLICATIONS <br />416.1.700 1-35: TIME LIA41TS FOR PERFECTION OF APPEAL FOR FILING. The <br />provisions of Section 1-3-630 of the San Leandro Municipal Code authorize the Board to <br />establish time limits within which appeals from enforcement actions and/or determinations of <br />exemption shall be perfected. In accordance with this grant of authority no party shall be <br />permitted to appeal such a determination of the Cede-Eemplianee Building Services Division in <br />the enforcement of the building access requirements of Part 5.5 of Division 13 of the California <br />Health and Safety Code, unless such party files a written notice of appeal in the Office of the <br />Cede Ge iaeee Building Services Division within thirty (30) days from the enforcement action <br />and/or determination of exemption which is the subject matter of such appeal, provided that: <br />(a) Notice of such enforcement action and/or determination of exemption has been <br />personally served upon the party undertaking the appeal, such service having been made <br />in the same manner as provided in Section 1-3-640 of the San Leandro Municipal Code <br />and, <br />(b) Notice of such enforcement action and/or determination of exemption has been posted in <br />a conspicuous location in the City Hall of the City of San Leandro for a period of thirty <br />(30) days and publication of the same has been made in the manner provided by §6061 of <br />the California Government Code. <br />616.1.705: FAILURE OF APPLICANT TO APPEAR FOR HEARING. If the applicant <br />ails to appear at the time the application is regularly called by the Board, and the applicant has <br />not theretofore requested a continuance, the matter may be acted upon, be dropped fiom the <br />calendar, be restored thereto upon request b the he applicant, or be continued by the Board. <br />ARTICLE 8—AMENDMENTS <br />416.1.800: AMENDMENTS.
