GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />This RFP does not commit the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency or the City of San Leandro <br />to enter into negotiations for a sale agreement or enter into a sale agreement. The Agency <br />reserves the right to reject any or all submittals. All agreements require approval of the San <br />Leandro Redevelopment Agency Board. Decisions of the Board are final. Property will be sold <br />"as -is". The ultimate buyers will be responsible for all aspects of development, including <br />obtaining all City approvals as necessary (including rezoning and Site Plan Review) and <br />approvals from other agencies as required. <br />VII. 1040 DAVIS STREET DETAILS <br />No USTs known. Prior use as fire station since 1950s. Building condition unknown; possible <br />asbestos floor tile in kitchen, additional asbestos and lead paint suspected; Agency is not aware <br />of further environmental issues on the properties. Existing emergency siren to be relocated prior <br />to sale. The four -parcel property was appraised at $376,000 in August 2003. The cost to <br />demolish the fire station building, including asbestos abatement, grading the site flat, and <br />fencing, is estimated at $91,000.
