LEASE <br />This Lease, made this 13th day of January, 1958 by and between the <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as <br />Lessor, and SAN LEANDRO MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION, hereinafter referred to as <br />Lessee, <br />W I T N E S S E T H: <br />1. For and in consideration of the agreements, conditions, and terms <br />of this Lease to be performed by Lessee, Lessor hereby leases to Lessee and <br />Lessee hereby hires and takes from Lessor the real property in the City of <br />San Leandro, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: <br />PARCEL I <br />Lots 28, 29, 30 and a portion of Lots 26 and 27 in Block 3 as <br />said lots and block are shown on that certain map entitled "Map <br />of East San Leandro, Alameda County", filed February 20, 1871 <br />in the Office of the County Recorder of Alameda County and of <br />Record in Map Book 2, Page 24, the said portion of Lots 26 and <br />27 more particularly described as follows: beginning at the <br />northwest corner of Lot 27; thence north 70' 351 east along <br />the southeast line of Callan Avenue 33.34 feet; thence south <br />19' �51 east 122.00 feet; thence south 70' 351 west 33.34 feet <br />to the intersection thereof with the southwest line of Lot 27; <br />thence along the last mentioned line north 19' �51 west 122.00 <br />feet to the point of beginning. <br />PARCEL II <br />Beginning at a point on the southern line of Callan Avenue, <br />distant thereon westerly, 837.53 feet from the intersection <br />thereof, with the western line of Pelton Street, as said <br />avenue and street are shown on the map herein referred to; <br />running thence westerly along said line of Callan Avenue, <br />33 - 113 feet; thence at right angles southerly, 122 feet; <br />thence at right angles easterly, 33 - 113 feet; thence at <br />right angles northerly, 122 feet to the point of beginning. <br />Being the northern 122 feet of the western 16 - 2/3 feet of <br />Lot 25, and the northern 122 feet of the eastern 16 - 2/3 <br />feet of Lot 26, in Block 3, as said lots and block are shown <br />on the 171ap of East San Leandro, Alameda Co.", filed <br />February 20, 1871, in book 2 of Maps, page 24, in the office <br />of the County Recorder of Alameda County. <br />PARCEL III <br />Lots 31 and 32 in Block 3, as said lots and block are shown <br />on the 1,1ap of East San Leandro, Alameda Co.", filed February <br />20, 1871, in book 2 of Maps, page 24, in the office of the <br />County Recorder of Alameda County. <br />-1- <br />
