7. The Company shall prepare, execute and deliver to City its <br />standard form of cooperative agreement(s) providing for City <br />reimbursement of the cost of widening and/or construction of crossings <br />D-14.7 and D-14.96 (Davis Street and Alvarado Street respectively). <br />8. Company shall recommend to the PUC approval of the <br />application of the City for abandonment of crossings D-15.1 and D-14.8 <br />(West Estudillo Avenue) and for approval of new D-14.96 (Alvarado <br />Street). <br />9. City shall submit to the Company all its construction plans <br />details and specifications for the construction or modification of <br />crossings D-14.7 and D-14.96. Company agrees to promptly review and <br />approve such plans, details and specifications. <br />10. Company recognizes and agrees that a portion of its mainline <br />between San Leandro Creek and 'Thornton Street traverses a <br />redevelopment project area where substantial public sums have been <br />invested to eliminate blight (as defined in the Community <br />Redevelopment Law). In recognition thereof, Company agrees to use its <br />best efforts to keep its mainline right-of-way free and clear of junk, <br />debris, litter, waste and, in particular, excess ballast, ties and <br />rails. <br />11. City shall open an escrow and shall deposit therein 1) a copy <br />of this agreement duly executed and acknowledged; 2) a recordable <br />abstract of this agreement; 3) funds in the amount of S <br />pursuant to Paragraph a- hereof; 4) certified ordinances vacating the <br />April 20, 1987 -5- <br />May 27, 1967 <br />June 17, 1987 <br />October 29, 1987 <br />
