Attachment B – Kleinfelder Amendment 3 Scope of Work Page 1 of 2 Attachment B Amendment 3 Scope of Work The following is a summary of the revised ‘Scope of Work’ that will be included in the Contract Services Agreement Amendment Number 3 with Kleinfelder for the Washington Manor Park Irrigation Well Replacement Project, Project No. 2022.3060: 1. Section 1.1 of the Agreement entitled “Term of Services” is hereby amended to extend the term from December 31, 2021, to June 30, 2023; and 2. Exhibit A of the Original Agreement entitled “Scope of Services” is hereby amended to add the following text at the end of the section: Add the following paragraph at the end of the section for Task 1: Well Plans and Specifications: • Meet with City Staff to review comments and confirm revisions to be incorporated into the last progress PS&E submittal received in September, 2021. • Provide a demolition plan to remove existing 8” diameter irrigation well, well pad and enclosure • Incorporate additional detailed performance specifications and project requirements as needed for bidding of deferred submittal items to be completed by contractor, other items needed to complete a replacement irrigation well. Add the following paragraph at the end of the section for Task 2: MEP Plans and Specifications: • Meet with City Staff to review comments and confirm revisions to be incorporated into the last progress PS&E submittal received in September, 2021. • Incorporate detailed performance specifications and project requirements as needed for bidding of deferred submittal items to be completed by the contractor; including submersible well pump, riser pipe, variable frequency drive, pump controllers, and controls, and all other items needed to complete a replacement irrigation well. Add new Tasks 5 and 6 as follows: Task 5 – Well Construction Management (CM) During construction of the water supply well, Kleinfelder staff will be on-site and available to communicate with City staff and the drilling contractor during crucial periods of the well construction task as detailed in the drilling and well construction specifications. Task 5a - Drilling, Design, Installation, and Development Experience has shown that critical times during drilling and construction require experienced management. Kleinfelder staff will be onsite to observe and monitor the contractors work during at critical times during construction, including: • Conductor casing placement • Drilling fluid management • Geophysical log (E-log) interpretation • Seals placement • Well development • Production testing
