IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 72 - 181 <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE <br />A PORTION OF 135TH AVENUE <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under the provisions <br />of Chapter a.l of Title V of the San Leandro Municipal Code of 1957. <br />It is the intention of the City Council to vacate a portion of 135th <br />Avenue. Said 135th Street is a public street in the City of San Leandro, <br />Alameda County, California, officially known and designated as 135th Avenue. <br />That portion of 135th Avenue so proposed to be vacated and abandoned is <br />described as follows: <br />A portion of 135th Avenue, formerly Pestana Avenue, as said Avenue <br />is shown on the map of Tract 900, filed December 1, 1948 in Book 29 <br />of Maps at pages 72 and 73 and being further described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Point of intersection of the southwest line of <br />Rose Drive (50.00 feet wide) with that certain tangent curve, con- <br />cave to the west, having a radius of 20.00 feet and a central angle <br />of 89' 50' 05" as said Drive and curve are shown on said Map; thence <br />along the southeasterly prolongation of the said southwest line <br />south 47° 10' 05" east 89.99 feet to a point of cusp with a tangent <br />curve, concave to the south, having a radius of 20.00 feet and a <br />central angle of 90' 09' 55"; thence along said curve northwesterly, <br />westerly, and southwesterly a distance of 31.47 feet; thence along <br />the prolongation of a radial line to last said curve, north 47° 20' 00" <br />west 50.00 feet; thence north 420 40' 00" east 0.26 feet to a tangent <br />curve concave to the west, having a radius of 20.00 feet and a central <br />angle of 890 50' 05"; thence along last said curve northeasterly, <br />northerly, and northwesterly a distance of 31.36 feet to a point of <br />cusp with the southeasterly prolongation of the said southwest line <br />of Rose Drive, said point of cusp being the point of Beginning. <br />The above described parcel of land contains 1,178 square feet, more <br />or less. <br />These proceedings are taken subject to the reservation and exception of <br />f- <br />easements and rights of way in, upon, over and across said property to con- <br />struct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew sanitary sewers and <br />storm drains and appurtenant structures; and to construct, maintain, operate, <br />replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires <br />poles and other convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation <br />of gas pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, and for the transportation <br />
