Carden <br />City Attorney <br />City Hall <br />San Leandro, California <br />Dear Mr. Carden: <br />You will recall that by our letter of <br />May 1, 1956, relating to the proposed de -annexation <br />by San Leandro and the annexation by Oakland of cer- <br />tain property along Doolittle Drive, we indicated <br />to you that the consent of the Southern Pacific <br />Company had been requested to these proceedings. <br />The Southern Pacific Company has now indicated in <br />writing to the Port of Oakland that it has no ob- <br />jection to the proposed proceedings and desires to <br />cooperate in any way possible. <br />It is hoped that the City of San Leandro <br />will go forward with these proceedings at the earliest <br />possible date. <br />Very truly yours, <br />J.
