Whereas, the City Clerk of this City also duly caused written notice <br />of such proposed annexation to be mailed to each person to whom land within <br />the territory p.�oposed to be annexed, as assessed in the last equalized <br />county assessment roll available on the date the proceedings were initiated, <br />at the address shown on said assessment roll or as known to said Clerk, and <br />also to each and every person who has filed his name and address and the <br />designation of the lands in which he has any interest, either legal or equit- <br />able, with the Clerk; and <br />Whereas, the hour set in said Resolution for hearing objections to the <br />proposed annexation, to -wit: the hour of 8:15 o'clock p.m., Monday, November <br />19, 1956, has arrived and no property owner of property within the territory <br />proposed to be annexed or any person whatever has filed written or other protest <br />against the proposed annexation at the place set forth in said Resolution, tom <br />wit: the Council Chambers of the City Council, City Hall, San Leandro, Cali- <br />fornia, or at any other place known to this Council, and no protests have been <br />made to this Council for hearing at this time; <br />Whereas, this Council, therefore, finds that protest is not made by the <br />owner or owners of any property within the territory proposed to be annexed: <br />Now, therefore, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does ORDAIN <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. The arviexation of a Portion of East 14th Street Near 150th <br />Avenue (Unit No, 71), herein referred to, is hereby approved. <br />Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to make, under the seal <br />of this City, and transmit to the Secretary of State, a certified copy of this <br />Ordinance and to comply with the Affidavit of Completion of Law, whereupon the <br />territory herein referred to shall be, to all intents and purposes, a part of <br />this City, and <br />such annexed territory shall be taxed to pay its <br />proper pro rata <br />of all indebtedness and liability of this City contracted prior <br />to or existing' <br />at the time of <br />such annexation. <br />Section 3. <br />That said territory, the annexation of which to the City of <br />San Leandro is <br />herein approved, is all that land situate in the <br />Township of <br />Eden, County of Alameda, State of California, more particularly <br />described as <br />follows: <br />Ba <br />
