boundaries of the hereinafter described territory so proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation may appear before this City Council and show cause why such territory should not be annexed; That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objec- tions to the proposed annexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed to be annexed may file written protest against the proposed annexation. Such protest shall state the name of the owner of the property affected thereby and the description and area of such property in general terms; That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is con- tiguous to the present boundary line of the City; That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed are specifically described as all that land situated in the Township of Eden, Alameda County, California, bounded as follows: BEGINNING at an angle point in the City of San Leandro boundary line as established by Ordinance 957 N.S. as shown on the map filed January 19, 1955 in Map Book 32, page 58A, Alameda County Records, said point being the intersection of the northeastern line of Merced Street, 60.00 feet wide, more or less, with the northwestern line of First Avenue (West Ave. 132) 60 feet wide; thence along the said City of San Leandro boundary line and along said northwestern line of First Avenue north 62° 30' east 322.46 feet to the most southern corner of the territory annexed to the City of San Leandro by Ordinance No. 1005 N.S. as shown on the map filed November 1, 1956 in Map Book 40, page 77, Alameda County Records; thence along the City of San Leandro boundary line established by said Ordinance No. 1005 N.S. the following courses: north 27° 30' west 178.00 feet; north 62° 30' east 244.72 feet; south 27° 30' east 134.90 feet; south 62' 30' west 113.00 feet; and south 27° 30' east 43.10 feet, more or less, to the City of San Leandro boundary line estab- lished by the aforementioned Ordinance No. 957 N.S.; thence along the said City of San Leandro boundary line established by Ordinance No. 957 N.S. north 62° 30' east 113.00 feet to its intersection with the southwestern line of the parcel of land described in deed from George R. Mendonca, Junior and Beatrice J. Mendonca, his wife, to State of California, dated March 6, 1950 and recorded April 12, 1950 in Book 6075 of Official Records, page 416, of Alameda County; thence leaving last said boundary line along the said southwestern line north 27' 24' 25" west 30.02 feet to the point of intersection thereof with the northwestern line of the last mentioned parcel of land, said point being a point on the general southwesterly right of way line of the Nimitz Freeway, Road IV ALA 69-C, S.Ln., as said general southwesterly line is delineated on sheet 13 of 99 sheets, designated "AS BUILT," and filed August 15, 1955, in State Highway Map Book No. 3, Section 5 thereof under Recorder's Series No. AK 87582, Records of Alameda County, California; thence along lwsw
