s L 'r°hat said channel is to be used for carrying effluent from the San Leandro So,eaae Disposal Plant to the open waters of the San Francisco Bay where the joint actim of tides and wind will dissipate such effluent; `"hat public health and safety demands that the police powers of the City be extended so as to control persons and activities using said channel for any other purpose; and be it further RES UED, that notice is hereby further given that at 8:15 o9clock p.m, oil r S� 1955, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, San Leandro, Cali- fornia, any person owning real property within the boundaries of the hereinafter described territory so proposed to be annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation may appear before this City Council and show cause why such territory should not be annexed; Said territory is hereby designated as "Outfall Sewer Channel Annexation, Unit Do. 63". That at any time not later than the hour set for hearing objections to the pro- posed amexation, any owner of property within the territory proposed to be &nnexed may file written protest against the proposed annexation. Such protest shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected thereby and the deseription.and area of such property in general. terms; That the territory herein referred to is uninhabited and is contiguous to the present boundary line of the City; That the boundaries of the territory hereinabove proposed to be annexed are specifically described as all that land situated in the township of Eden, Alameda County, California, bounded as followst. EEC:I WNG at the southwest corner of Lot 24 in section 33, T. 2 S., R. 3 W., M.D.M., as said lot is shown on "Sale Map No. 10 of Salt Marsh and Tide Lands, sitaate in the County of Alameda, State of California°, filed ,tune 9, 1888 in the Office of the County Recorder of Alameda County in Map Book 17, page 30, said southwest corner being also on the City of San Leandro boundary line as established by Ordinance Noo 925 N.S. and as shown on that certain map entitled- "Map De- lineating Boundary of the Territory Annexed to the City of San Leandro, California, by Ordinance No. 925 N.S. Under Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939"
