<br />3 <br /> <br /> <br /> Establish excellent lines of communication with their contacts <br /> <br />The after-action-reviews allow the city and consultant to review each transition, document their successes <br />and innovate. Consultant commits significant resources to transitions to ensure that the transition team has <br />as much support and expertise as they need to complete a successful transition. As part of the transition, <br />we will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manuals to specifically meet the contract <br />requirements and the scope of operations at the properties. The SOP manual will be submitted to the City <br />for approval. We will adjust the SOP as necessary to meet the dynamic and ever evolving parking <br />operations: <br /> <br /> Operating procedures analysis <br /> Implementation of approved revenue and operational enhancement programs <br /> Separation of duties <br /> Cash handling procedures <br /> Risk management assessment <br /> <br />TRANSITION TEAM <br />Consultant’s transition team will include subject matter experts from many departments including <br />operations, accounting, human resources and information technology. <br /> <br />Although each team member will be responsible for one area of concentration, we believe that a dynamic <br />leadership team is the backbone to a successful transition. On-site transition team will be supported by <br />their management and accounting staff. Their experienced team has managed many sizes and types of <br />transitions and we are confident that we will be able to facilitate a smooth transition without impacting the <br />customer and team member experience. <br /> <br />Consultant’s Human Resources team will begin interviewing current staff and initiating any onboarding <br />process. Consultant maintains a high retention rate in retaining current employees. <br /> <br />THE IMPORTANCE OF AN EARLY START <br />Consultant’s Project Manager will serve as the team leader and will be the primary contact for the City of <br />San Leandro. Consultant’s appointed manager will start with the project at least 30-60 days prior to the <br />implementation to meet the goals set forth earlier.
